Mary Louise Staire 1939 -2007 Mary, 68, was born March 6, 1939, in rural Tolono, the youngest daughter of the late Zelma ( Moore) and the late Harvey McWhorter. She has two older siblings: a brother, Leland McWhorter of Sadorus, and a sister (and her closest friend), Lois Fogerson of Bement. Mary was married to Forrest (Buck) Staire on Sept. 11, 1958, in Sheldon. He survives. Also surviving are three of her four children: a daughter, Cindy (Justis) Reichelt of Egg Harbor Township, N.J.; a son, Forrest Jr. (Butch) of Sadorus Illinois; and a daughter, Jenny Murray of Villa Grove, Illinois. Her son Michael preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 2004. Jessica Warner November 27, 1986 – November 6, 2005 Jessica’s story told by her mother Jessica and I were in a car accident in July of 2001. She was fourteen, just ready to start high school. Life was good! A nineteen-year-old boy ran a stop sign and hit us at highway speed. She sustained a mild brain injury. She had problems with memory and mood changes. She struggled to make it through her high school years. She was a good student and after the accident, she had to have help in the resource room and tutors. John and his friend were on their way to go snowboarding, John was wearing his seatbelt, and the driver of the car was not speeding. In other words, they were not doing anything wrong. Amanda Christine Amison 1987-2005 We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day that year in 2005. I prepared a big dinner including potato salad, which Amanda told me the pilgrims “served’ on the first Thanksgiving. She just liked my homemade potato salad. Amanda was there with her fiancé, Dave and my husband Joe and my stepson David were also there. We talked and laughed and had a great time. Then she and Dave left to go visit her father.
